Hello, beautiful soul!

I am Ksenia Pardo (Ivanova), your proposal, family and wedding photographer in Lisbon and all over Portugal. I am the smile and the heart behind all these images.

I am a hopeless romantic, an optimist, and an empath.

I rarely look at the world without my rose-colored glasses, I see and show the best in people, and live my slow life in my bubble full of nature, my cat Tosya, some peaceful people, and photography. →

The story

I was born and raised in cold and mostly grey Siberia, and that's probably the reason I prefer all my photos to be in juicy natural colors. As soon as I set myself free from the connection to that wonderful but severe land more than a decade ago, I discovered my love for being a photographer.

After wandering around the continent for 12 years, and having completed more than 400 multicultural photoshoots of proposals, couples and weddings in 11 countries, one day I was landing in Portugal, and while still on the plane I had a feeling I was landing Home. Finally. →

My clients and photoshoots

My clients are from all continents, major religions, races, and identities. I am an open person who easily makes a heart-to-heart connection with anyone, be it someone's little Chinese nephew or a Colombian great-grandma.

I am a Lisbon-based photographer, but I travel all over Portugal to take photos of my clients. I love photographing surprise proposals, small weddings, intimate elopements, and romantic couple walks. I love chasing kids during family photoshoots and showing the light of individual souls. →

My values

I am awful at competitions and labels, so I am not "the 53 awards winning Lisbon photographer featured in the top magazines." I just love what I do and try to give the best of me in every photoshoot while trying to live my life mindfully and tastefully.

I am Libra Sun, Pisces Rising, and I have an INFP type of personality. If it says nothing to you, here is the translation: I am driven by values and people. My main value is Authentic Life Guided By Love, and I do my best to channel it in all possible ways including documenting the essence of people and their unions. →

Having a background and experience in life and meditation coaching mixed with my empathy gifts, I tend to naturally create a safe and comfortable space for you to celebrate yourself, your love, your joy, and your depth, while my camera and I zone in on the details, emotions, intimacy, smiles, tears, on the real you.

If I am not shooting or editing, you may find me meditating at the beach, wandering around the Sintra forest, playing ukulele in a park, or exploring new Portuguese lands, tastes, and people with my old cabriolet car. ♡

As a Lisbon proposal photographer, I have been fortunate to capture some of the most memorable moments for couples embarking on a new journey together. There is something so unique and intimate about capturing them.

Lisbon has been the ideal backdrop for proposal photography with its picturesque landscapes, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. It's no wonder that more and more couples are choosing to pop the question in this amazing city.

Being a professional Lisbon proposal photographer, I understand that each couple has a unique vision for their special moment. One of my personal favorites, though, is the Alfama neighborhood. This historic area is known for its winding streets, charming alleyways, trams, viewpoints, and colorful buildings. Another great place to propose for nature lovers is Sintra with its castles and stunning beaches.
